portrait / Life in the Theatre

This was a really fun project with a lot of opportunity for growth for me as a photographer. Each of the models featured in these photographs is a senior who is about to begin their career in the theatre. These headshots have always been a way of giving these students something that can help them get noticed without them having to spend money on expensive headshots at such a difficult time for them.

independent /  Light in the Dark

Revisiting an old challenge, I was excited to get back to long exposure photography. Specifically, I was interested in what would come of long exposure on a lake. The spill of light coming from the nearby marina allowed for an exciting series of photographs taken in near complete darkness.

landscape /  Unplugged

This ended up being a larger project than I initially intended. For the first time in a long time, I left my phone in my car and just went on a hike in the Green River State Park and at the Homeplace at Green River. It was a journey to leave technology (other than the camera) behind for a few hours in 2020.
