MEGAN  INMON

Megan M Inmon is an M.F.A. Candidate at the University of Idaho studying scenic design and painting. She received a B.S. in Theatre from Middle Tennessee State University and lived in Maryville, Tennessee for her teenage years.

She got to spend a lot of time during this semester outside looking at things in more depth and in a new way. She hopes that you will also feel similarly to her work.

PORTRIAT /  THE EARTH IS DOOMED

The human race is a tricky one. We disagree on everything and all have grown to have even stronger opinions on these subjects over the past couple years. One of these things is climate change. We all see the fires, the heat rising, the colder winters, the water rising, the insane number of hurricanes that have battered the east coast and Gulf, etc. For me it’s a clear, scientific fact that climate change is happening and we as humans are the cause of the rapid changes. The northwest was on fire around the end of summer and beginning of summer which left the earth chard. Our earth is trying so hard to keep going and keep growing, but there doesn’t seem to be any hope in sight.

Living in the foothills of The Great Smokey Mountains was something that I loved and took for granted when I was a teenager. Even though it had only been a little over a year since I had seen this beautiful national park. I got to see it in a completely different way from the visitors that came from across the country. I experienced the true beauty and joy of the unseen rivers and roads. These photos could never do my home justice.
